A thunder storm hit the Burrow while everyone was sleeping. Hermione woke up when there was a loud boom and crack. Hermione was terribly afraid of storms. When a second "CRACK!" came, this time louder, she decided to go see if Ron was still awake. When Hermione arrived in Ron's room, Ron slept alone in his room since Harry got his own flat after the war, but he visited often. Ron was asleep. Hermione walked over to his bed and started shaking him and was saying, "Ron, Ron wake up."

Ron woke up a few seconds later and looked at Hermione. "What's wrong 'Mione?" said Ron. "I couldn't sleep… Ron I'm scared of storms and I was wondering if I could stay with you." Said Hermione blushing. "Ok 'Mione, you can stay." Said Ron moving over so that Hermione could lie in bed with him. Hermione smiled and pulled down the blanket covers and climbed into the bed. She then pulled the blankets back up over her body and moved closer to Ron. Ron put an arm around her waist and pulled her closer to him, and she felt safer in his arms.

Hermione was still wide awake a few minutes later, Ron was still awake too, and every time she heard thunder, she still jumped. "Hermione love, you need to calm down." Said Ron kissing Hermione's forehead. "Ron, it's hard to, I know I'm 17, but it just scares me." Said Hermione. "'Mione, when I was younger, I used to also be afraid of storms, but I got over it, maybe you can too, and if you can't, I'm ok with that." Said Ron. "When I used to go to mum during a storm, she would just rub my back and relax me and I would fall asleep, maybe that can work for you." Said Ron. "Well then let's give it a try." Said Hermione.

Ron slid his hand up the back of Hermione's shirt and rubbed her back. Hermione instantly relaxed and dug her face into Ron's chest while he continued to rub her back. Hermione soon fell asleep with Ron, and he also fell asleep.
