Ok, so I had this story on my head and I just had to get it out in story.

The story is called Friendship Matters Most

This story is NOT based on any of the books by J.K. Rowling.

So, Draco, Ron, and Hermione are all best friends. One day Dumbledore announced in the Great Hall that there would be a Yule Ball for the champions. Harry is going to the ball with Lavender. (not real) Hermione was going with Draco. (Ron doesn't know that) Ron thinks that Hermione was going to go with Ron, since he was her best friend. But since Ron didn't take it seriously to ask Hermione, she isn't going with him.

Ron appears at the Yule Ball, and then Hermione appears walking side by side with Draco. Ron was shocked. Draco led Hermione into the Great Hall and then they danced. Ron stood there with Harry saying nothing. He doesn't have anyone to dance with, because all that time he thought Hermione was going to go with him...

After the Yule Ball, Hermione was smiling and being happy, going to change back to her clothes in the common room. On the way, she spotted Ron. She walked over by him. Ron was mad. His face was red. He yelled at Hermione, "I THOUGHT YOU SAID YOU WERE GOING TO THE BALL WITH ME! DRACO? YOU WERE GOING WITH DRACO?!"

Hermione's smile just faded away...

Hermione said, "YOU didn't take it seriously to ask me to the ball!"

Ron said, "Well, YOU should've told me that you were going with Draco!"

Hermione said, "Well, I thought you were going with someone else! You didn't even tell me!"

Ron said, "Fine! That's it! This friendship is OVER!"

Hermione sobbed...

Hermione ran up to the common room (sobbing) paying no attention to anything or anyone. Harry ran up to her, he said, "Hermione! What's wrong?"

Hermione said, "LEAVE ME ALONE!" She got up to the common room and slammed the door into Harry's face. Harry ran down back to Ron.

Ron's face was flaming with anger. Harry asked him, "What's up Ron?! What's wrong with Hermione?"

Ron just ignored him. He ran up to the Boys' common room. Still ignoring anything Harry says...

Hermione locked herself up the whole day until Draco went up to try to comfort her. She opened the door, Draco went in. She swung her arms out and hugged Draco, saying that he's the only one she loves. Draco smiled but said nothing. Ron and Draco weren't friends anymore. Ron and Draco got into a fight to win Hermione's heart. Even though Hermione was still upset. Even though she said she loved Draco, she found out that her real true love was Ron.

She came up to apologize but it was too late...Draco casted a single Avada Kedavra on Ron. Believing that Hermione only loved him. Hermione sobbed even harder than before when she saw the one she loved...gone. The last word she ever said to him was at the Yule Ball. She sobber even harder.

Draco said, "I did it, Hermione! I killed Ron for you!"

Hermione said, "Leave me alone, MALFOY!!"

Draco said, "Malfoy? You never called me Malfoy you Mudblood!!"

Hermione flared up with anger. She punched him in the face and told him to leave her alone. Hermione's friendship with Draco just ended...

Hermione went up to Hogsmeade remebering how much fun she and Ron had those days. She was no longer sobbing...but will never see the love of her life again...
