Hidan burst from the room, the door hitting the wall so hard the door knob left a hole in the wall. You turned and ran after your boyfriend, frantically trying to catch him before he got to his destination. You finally got in front of him, pushing him back into a wall.

"Just where the hell do you think you're going?" You yelled at him.

He didn't answer, just continued to struggle out of your grasp. He pushed you to the ground, shocking you for a moment. You cursed under your breath and began to follow him again.

"Hidan listen to me!" You pleaded, but he just ignored you.

"Damn it Hidan!"

However, there was no point in trying to stop him now, as he had already arrived at Kakuzu's room. He kicked the door open, before moving inside. Kakuzu looked up from a scroll he was reading, and stood up when he saw Hidan. He angrily opened his mouth to say something, but the immortal cut him off.

"What the FUCK is your problem, you back stabbing son of a bitch?"

Hidan swung a fist, narrowly missing Kakuzu's face. The bounty hunter grabbed Hidan's arm and twisted, bringing it behind his back in what looked like an extremely painful position. Hidan didn't seem to notice however, his anger only further increasing.

The man lashed out violently, trying to get away and cursing all the while. Kakuzu began to yell back at him, though it was mainly just insults. You stood there watching with wide (e/c) orbs, but finally your frustration got the better of you.

"Shut your mouths!"

Silence filled the room as both men turned to look at you, Kakuzu dropping Hidan. He landed with a thud, before quickly standing up and rubbing at his arm with a scowl. You took a deep breath and stepped closer to Hidan, trying to look into his eyes.

But he refused to meet your gaze, his jaw set as he stared at the wall.

"Hidan . . . "

Now that you have the floor, you don't know what to say. Really, what can you say? That you were sorry for cheating on Hidan with his partner? Yeah, that was going to make everything better. When Hidan realized you weren't speaking, he finally looked at you.

Anger, jealousy, and resentment shone in those purple eyes but what struck you was the deep pain. Okay, so you tended to make decisions based on your emotions. Obviously, it hadn't worked out for you, since you had followed your heart and fallen in love with Kakuzu.

And you had known Hidan would be angry, who wouldn't be? But you had never thought in a million years that your betrayal would hurt the man so much. Despite being together for two and a half wonderful years, you didn't know this man as much as you had thought you did.

Or maybe you had just pushed that knowledge down because of your selfish desire for another man.

"I love you."

The ability to breath was wrenched from you as Hidan spoke those words. He had never said them to you before, nor had he shown any indication that he felt that way. However, as (e/c) met purple, you knew his heart was truly broken and he really believed what he was saying.

"I - "

Before you could finish your sentence, the silver haired immortal was gone.

A fist gripped your heart, squeezing the muscle as you fell to your knees. (H/C) hair fell around your face, masking the silent tears that slid down it.
