Summary: Retro gaming night with Sheldon and Penny.
"Penny. Penny. Penny." as accompanied by its traditional three knocks, Penny opened the door as Sheldon stood there, arms full of something grey and many wires. "Yes Sheldon." "Leonard doesn't want to play and its retro gaming night." He moved past her into the apartment setting up his system connecting to her TV as she still stood by the door. "What about Howard and Raj?" Sheldon quickly sat on her couch, then her chair, then sat back to the couch. "Howard has a date with Bernadette and Raj is at some bar 'chatting up the ladies'" He made the quotation marks as he set up the game holding a controller for Penny, she sighed dramatically as she sat next to the tall nerd. "What're we playing?" She asked defeated, she was only going to go out drinking tonight but she supposed she could humor him and play a couple games. "Super Mario Brothers." "I know this game!" She squealed excitedly that there was at least a few games that didn't have to be explained to her.
3 hours, 5 bottle of boozes, 4 secretly slutty cokes, and several lack of princess filled castle later Penny wanted to call it a night. "Oh but we only have the last world, Koopa's castle and its over." Sheldon groaned in his not quite as sloshed as Penny state. "Later, another day we can beat Koopa and save Peach together." Sheldon wanted to complain but he was really tired himself for some unknown reason, "You promise?" It was sweet and child-like that Penny couldn't help but smile. "I promise." Sheldon looked unconvinced, his brows frowning before holding out his hand. "Pinky promise." She'd blame it on the alcohol later, but right now she instead leaned forward. "I'll do you one better." She gave him small smooch on the cheek as he looked confused.
"I fail to see how that's better then a pinky promise."
