Fixing a Hole
"Just a scratch."
Typical hunt. Ghost. Sam getting his ass kicked.
"Here, Sam, let me do it."
He can fix this, purely physical, but there's a part of Sam he can't even get close to right now. Helpless. Back against the wall, enemies everywhere, for both of them. But Sam's are buried in his own psyche.
He wants to forgive Sam, so badly, so badly, but his own wounds are fresh and painful and all he can see is Sam with that terrible look in his eyes and his hands and strangling and then walking out the door and...he just...
