Author's Note: I have read the Flowers in the Attic books, and im just trying to write a fanfic about why Malcom loved Corrine so much and stuff like that. This is only the first chapter..so yeah..

Disclaimer: I dont own any thinge xcept my ideas. The characters belong to whoever Virginia Andrews left them to.

Corrine's feet pounded through the corridors. She'd never thought that she would accidently seduce her father one day. Her heart raced with fear. Malcom's heavy breathing, only feet away. Corrine lifted up her long, red coloured skirt. Red. Colour of sin. She thought. Corrine; blinded by tears, turned into the second wing. On the left there was a small room. She ducked into it and crouched against the wall. She let out a small squeal as Malcom walked into the room.

"Why do you run from me, Corrine?" Came that deadly soft whisper. Corrine scrambled to the ground and raced through another door. This one leading to the attic. She had heard tales of this Attic, but she was never too sure.

"Corrine, where are you? You can run but you can't hide!" Said Malcom. His voice dripping in mock. Corrine sunk down to the ground and sobbed.

"Go away!" She said vulnerably. No voice of hers could turn away the powerful form of Malcom Foxworth. He chuckled and put one foot on the stairs. He looked at the stairs and the attic above it, where he could see a sheen of blonde hair, sparkling in the moonlight coming from that small window. He snarled and withdrew his foot as if it had burnt him.

"You'll live in here, like your mother. Willing to give, unwilling to return." And Malcom slammed the door with that.

Corrine wiped her cursed blue, Foxworth eyes and heaved a great sigh. Her eyes explored that attic, coming to a halt at a large frame, draped over with a black sheet. Corrine pulled her body up and walked over to the frame, hands outstretched. One hand ripped that horrible sheet off to stand before a beautiful mirror. Her fingers traced a brush, a silver hand mirror and a lock of auburn hair, set on the dressing table. Next she fingered a small frame with a blond baby inside. She picked up the photo and saw the resemblance between herself, Malcom and the photo. Corrine knew that Malcom's father's wife had had a baby, but they had gone away soon after Malcom's father had died. Or had they...
