What's Been Done
Do you ever lie awake,
Regret in your dreams?
For my life you did take?
The past-it haunts me,
Following my every step,
And I know that you can see.
Do Yousee these tears that I cry?
Can you tell if they are real?
Or is it all just one big lie.
Is this pain that I am feeling as true as it can be?
How do we know for sure?
Are my emotions wandering from me?
I cannot breathe here
The grief is more than I can take
I know you are near.
What can fix it, how can it be won?
Love brought me here,
Can it undue what's been done.
How can a broken heart learn to live?
I want to run when I see you.
Will I ever be able to forgive?
