Sum: (One-Shot) Rin notices Sesshomaru's softer side! Rin's point of view older Rin.
Author's Note: I wrote this the same time I did with 'The Way She Looks at Me' and also thought I should post it…. and it's very small too…
"Rin."
"Yes my Lord?"
It's been about ten years since I've traveled with Sesshomaru and I feel this tingling in my stomach everytime he speaks to me, it's kind of scary. Lately he's been giving this look… His eyes are warm, and his face is relaxed… But here's the funny thing, instead of… I don't know, ignoring all human males and females, that isn't me, he threatens to kill them… And instead of telling a scary mad man to go, he kills him… with his eyes. One look at them, and they stop dead. If looks really can kill, I'm certain Jakon will be dead already.
"Rin, there's a Lord here for you. Something about 'I know you travel with a human girl who just turned 19 a few days ago'. Mine telling me who he is?"
"My Lord, I never heard of him bbbbeeeeeeffffffffoooooorrrrrrreeeee…. WAIT! A Lord but Lord Sesshomaru, you won't give me to him will you? I'll do anything to stay by your side, my Lord please!" I screamed at him.
It wasn't till I was on my knees that I noticed the other Lord in front of him. I don't care about him, really. But his appearance intrigued me, just a little bit. He had long light yellow hair, blue eyes, fair skin, fangs, claws, a little yellow diamond marking on his forehead and two yellow stripes going across each check. He wore a pretty brown kimono like :Lord Sesshomaru with the with the spiky armor as well. A sword against his left hip, claws, fangs, and that creepy smile he was giving me told me enough. I shivered.
"Do not worry Rin, I won't allow you to go anyway nor will I give you to him, you have my word. You may go now Lord Denji of the Southern lands. I hope never to see you again."
Lord Denji's smile faded but he bowed, and started to walk away. "Lord Sesshomaru."
Jakon had been watching this the whole time. He sighed and said. "Lady Rin, it seems to me that Lord Sesshomaru loves you in his own way."
I blinked. 'He loves me…? Wait, does that mean those looks he gives me, are of love?' I blushed. Jakon screamed as a large rock hit him in the head. I looked at Sesshomaru, and laughed as he had two more rocks to throw at Jakon…
