Ok so this is a new idea that I had. It's pretty much based on reality; all human. I hope you enjoy.
I do not own Twilight.
I looked the girl up and down as if she was someone I had never met in my life. She had changed so much that I barely recognized her underneath all of the confidence and happiness. Who would have thought that a year of studying abroad would really change someone that much….
Actually, this might be easier to understand if we start at the very beginning of Bella and I's friendship. Bella is two years younger than me. She moved here from Piedmont, North Dakota when I was in 7th grade and she was in 5th. I was on the student welcoming committee and therefore had to show around the new students and make them feel welcome in our little slice of paradise.
As soon as I met Bella I knew she was different. Different in a way that made me happy; she had this way of being totally annoying but somehow she always still made me smile. She and I continued to be friends right up until I hit high school. After that we kind of went our separate ways. She concentrated on school because she wanted to be able to study abroad while I was barely passing and partying all of the time.
In June of 2010, Bella came to me and told me that she was leaving for a whole year to study in Turkey. I had this feeling that she was going to come back different but what I envisioned was nothing compared to what actually happened.
Back to present day now, I sit at Mike's house staring at this girl that I swear I know but I just can't put my finger on it. Still pondering the thought very deeply, Mike walks up to me and says, "Wow Bella sure did change a lot over in Europe didn't she?" Oh my fucking God! That was Bella! I couldn't even believe it. This girl was dressed in dark blue skinny jeans, a spaghetti strapped tank, and sandals clad in jewels that screamed foreign-made. This girl was smoking HOT. I had never found myself so attracted to a girl as I did to this one. Instantly I had the Zac Brown Band song, "She's Got Whatever It Is" pop into my head and it just wouldn't go away.
"She's got eyes that cut you like a knife.
Lips that taste like sweet red wine
And pretty legs that go to heaven, every time."
Reluctant to actually go and talk to Bella, I wandered over to the dessert table to have a piece of Mike's mom's kool aid pie. Little did I know, Emmett and Jazz and spotted Bella already and had told her that I was here. I hit Emmett so hard when he told me that she knew I was here; she wouldn't wanna see me anyways right? Wrong!
"Rosalie, Oh my it's been so long!" she wrapped me in the biggest hug. In the midst of this hug I could tell that Bella had definitely matured over her year in Turkey. She had filled out in her disproportionate areas of her body and she was looking mighty fine.
The whole night I spent with Bella, Emmett, and Jazz around a campfire, listening to stories from Europe about how Bella had gotten drunk and gone out countless times. How she wasn't afraid of life anymore and wanted to just have fun. By the end of the night, I knew that something was definitely different about my relationship with Bella. I was interested; I had a crush on Bella. The only problem is, where do I go from here?
Ok so this is actually something I'm sorta going through at this time so if anyone has any advice, please PM me because I'm going nutso over here. Thanx Lots of Love
Maddie
