This is How Ninja Throw Snowballs
Author's Notes: For Manna/Kitten Kisses. She wanted a Misao/Aoshi snowball fight, and so I gave her one.

Misao crouched behind a covering of bushes by the Kamiya Dojo and eyed her target carefully. Scooping up some freshly fallen snow, she compacted it in her hands and made a decent sized ball from it. She grinned wickedly as her target sipped at the tea Kenshin offered, completely unaware of her plans. Blowing a stray strand of hair out of her face, she calculated just where she wanted to hit her 'prey', all the while compacting the ball further. Carefully, she set the ball down by her feet and created another and another until she had a whole arsenal of them.
A good ninja is always prepared for battle, she thought as she took an arm-full of the snowballs.
Her target still in her line of sight, Misao jumped from the bushes and threw the snowball.
Splat.
Something cold and very wet hit the back of Aoshi's head. Blinking thrice, he very calmly placed his tea down on the table, wiped the back of his head, and looked behind him to see who threw the very cold and very wet projectile at him.
Misao quickly hid back behind the bushes, her load of snowballs close at hand in case of retaliation.
"Is something wrong, Aoshi-san?" Kenshin gave him a look of concern and then turned his gaze to the rustling bushes.
"...Something in the bushes," was all Aoshi said as he scooped up some snow.
He threw the snowball at the bushes with little effort and managed to hit Misao right in the head.
"You hit something."
Aoshi gave a rare smile. "I know and so does she."
Misao poked her head over the top of the bush, a serious expression on her face.
"How did you--"
"Misao... You haven't yet mastered the art of snowball throwing."
Misao's face fell. "But Aoshi-sama, I've practised ever since the first snow fell!"
"Then practise some more."
Misao took her load of snowballs and grinned.
"This is how ninja throw snowballs."
Kenshin wasn't quite sure how she managed it, but all the snowballs managed to hit Aoshi right in the face.
