Chapter 1
Flashback:
"You can't run from me Kaguru", he said as I ran as fast as my legs could take me. It happened while I was in the Mamodo world. We had gotten into a fight, and he had just...changed. Fatigue began to grow as I kept running. He was right. He always was. I couldn't keep running from him. I span around, and saw him there, in front of me. I gasped quietly. "I told you you couldn't run from me", he said maliciously. "P-please, leave me alon", I whimpered, slowly backing up until I ended up backed into a tree. He walked up to me, and before the flashback ended, I heared myself say his name, but I couldn't make it out.
End of flashback
Ahem...back to real time...
"One more time Kaguru!", my partner Xena yelled to me. It would be the senventh time we said the book glowed grey as she shouted,"The senond spell:Gigano Wi Bao!". Wind shot around and when it it some rocks, it exploded. I breathed in and out slowly, for the seventh time was when it started to take a toll on me. She knelt down to my level, which was a number of 4' 7, and asked,"Are you alright?". "I'm...just fine...", I breathed. "You sure?". "Positive", I replied raspily. "I think that's enough training for now". "Aww, isn't that touching, huh Sherry?", someone said from behind us. I turned and gasped quietly. It was the boy I used to know. Then it came to me. I quietly said,"B...Brago?". "Do I know-wait...Kaguru, well, this is a surprise, I'm surprised they picked a weakling like you to come down here". "You..you were the one...that almost killed me", I said, my voice quaking in anger. Xena gasped as our book glowed much brighter than it usually did. "You bastard!", I screamed. The wind whipped around and around. "Xena, read the 4th spell". "But you can barely hold the 2nd!". "Just do it". "...The fourth spell:Go Gravi Su!". Brago and the one called Sherry were sent to the ground. But they got back up easily. "You have no idea about the use of gravitational attacks do you?", Brago asked. "I know enough to kick your ass for what you did!", I screamed at him. All of the sudden, we heard,"Zakair!". Lightning shot at Brago. "Reis!", Sherry yelled, and a ball of energy shot at the lightning blast and blocked the attack. "Goddamit, this is my fight, not yours!", I yelled. "Well, you looked like you needed help". "Zatch?", I asked quizzically."At your service, how ya doing Kaguru?", he asked happily. "Oh, just peachy!", I said sarcastically. "Gigano Reis!". "Watch out Zatch!", I yelled. I rna in front of him, and Xena said,"Wi Shiel!". A barrier of wind shot up in front of us, and shot the Gigano Reis back at them. Last thing that I remembered happening that day, was Brago coming up behind me, and saying,"Nighty-night", then everyhting went black.
