A/N: Hello all! This is just a short sweet Jily oneshot that came up off the top of my head. Hope you like :D

When I saw her at the end of the aisle, I swear my heart stopped.

She was wearing a simple white gown that was dotted with little pearls and diamonds that sparkled whenever she moved. The dress swept the ground and I saw two little giggling girls holding the long train. Her ruby red hair was twisted into an elegant knot at the back of her head. A few stray hairs were artfully framing her face. A diamond encrusted clip was clasped at the front of the knot, and attached to that clip was a thin gossamer veil that hung around her face, slightly concealing her face, but not enough for me to not see her beautiful emerald green eyes that lit up when our eyes met. Next to her was a frail old man with an almost bare head. He looked so weak, but his eyes were shining strong. He was Robert Evans, Lily's father.

Professor McGonagall started playing the wedding march (who knew ol' Minnie was such a good piano player?) and Lily started walking down the red aisle slowly, her father's hand resting on her . Trailing behind the two little girls were even MORE little girls, except they were holding a basket each of lily petals and they were throwing them out, cute little smiles adorned on their faces. I couldn't help but imagine if we had a little boy or girl like that, and I started grinning at the thought.

I was still grinning as Lily reached the front. Robert held Lily's hand put it in my outstreched one. He kissed Lily's cheek and patted me on the back, before hobbling slowly to a seat at the front, next to an old woman with grey hair tied into a bun, who smiled warmly at him before helping him sit down. That must be Lily's mum, I thought but I suddenly paid attention to the minister: Professor Dumbledore. I beamed at him and he smiled warmly back at me before officially starting the ceremony.

I couldn't keep my eyes of Lily, and she seemed to be in the same situation. We were still grinning like idiots by the time Dumbeldore had said "You may now kiss the bride," and somehow I managed to grin even more as I pulled in the love of my life for a searing kiss.
