Takeover
I know this isn't a typical Marvin Marvin story, but what if the Klootonians tried to take over earth? What side would Marvin choose? Who would survive? This story is what I think would happen. This story begins with ben finding out Marvin is an alien. Also I would like to dedicate this to the other person who wrote Marvin Marvin: love or loathe?
"So you weren't kidding when you said you were an alien the day we met?" Ben said to me. "I wasn't." I said. The bell to go home rang. "My parents-""Adopted parents" Ben interrupted, "Yes adopted parents, are going to hate that you know this if they find out. They can't." "But Brianna was an exception." Ben said. "That was different. We had to tell her, she would have found out anyway. I just told you because you are my best friend." "I get it, I can't tell anyone. Your ado- parents can't find out that I know." "Yes." I said.
We went through the doors and got on our buses (we both on different buses). When I got home, Mom-Liz gave me an unexpected surprise. "Marvin, your parents are coming here on Monday! You can see them again!" Oh no, they can't see the Earth habits I have learned to live with! They could make me go fight the Klerg!
I was busy stressing out about Monday when Teri walked in mine and my younger brother Henry's room. "Marvin, I know you are stressed out but I thought of the perfect plan, and Henry's here to present it!" Henry stepped out from behind Teri and started talking. "I know how bad it turned out when your uncle came here, and I won't let that happen again! He quietly added "I really miss that hot tub and massaging fish." "Get to the point!" I said "What's the plan?"
Monday finally came and the family had memorized scripts to look normal, a Klootonian kind of normal. I kept feeling like there was something I was forgetting.
A car pulled up in the driveway, (wow, Mom and Dad are using a car? I thought for sure they would cloak a spaceship! Maybe it won't be as bad as I thought.) I headed to the door. As I opened it for them, I greeted them with the traditional Klootonian kind of greeting (slapping my face). "Ok" Mom said, "Either that's you or Marvin has really taught this family!" "It's me." I said.
Henry showed up and I began explaining the family "This is Henry, my adoptive brother, he has helped me with so much with fitting in." As if he had been like that all his life, he said "I am a great student and gave Marvin a tour of the school on his first day.""This is Teri, she wasn't too happy about me at first, but she likes me now." I said. "We really get along." She said, and then, it happened, she let out a giggle, ending the lie, my parents definitely knew the truth now. It only got worse from there. The phone rang, it was Ben.
The movie today, I totally forgot, I told him what was happening. Then I had to tell my adoptive family and my real family the truth, ben knew.
"Wait" Mom said "so there is another Klootonian here and you met him?" "Not exactly, he is human." "You are befriending the humans and telling them your secret? And some girl named Brianna knows too? They will hunt you down and kill you. Humans can't be trusted." "They are really close to me and wouldn't tell anyone." I said. "It doesn't matter, they won't resist the urge to tell for long. We will have to find a way to destroy them." Dad said. "Don't tell me." I said. "Yes," Mom said, "We are taking over"
