A/N: Ha, I wrote this in, legit, 5 minutes. (So, it has been edited like, twice..hehe..) I had been thinking about basing a fic on a song and then I heard "Billy Brown" by Mika. It's an interesting song...kinda funny. Anyways, I started thinking about making it a story, I have some ideas, but I think it's better as just a crack-ish one-shot. Besides, It would probably take me forever to update. (like "Always", which is kind of dead right now... ;;)
Uh, enjoy!
Oh, Billy Brown had lived an ordinary life…
Squall woke up to the sound of his alarm clock at 7:00, like he did every day. He went into his adjoining bathroom to shower; he got dressed in his usual suit and went downstairs.
Two kids, a dog, and the precautionary wife…
"Morning, honey," Squall greeted. His wife, who was making pancakes at the stove, turned around and smiled.
"Good morning," she said leaning up to give him a peck on the lips. "Want some pancakes?"
"No, I'll get some coffee on the way," Squall replied picking up the newspaper on the counter. His dog, Angelo, trotted up to him wagging his tail.
"Hey, boy," Squall reached down and gave him a pat on the head.
In the living room, his two children, Tidus and Selphie sat watching T.V. Selphie, the youngest, jumped off the couch and ran over to him, reaching her small arms up to his waist.
"Daddy! Come watch Teletubbies!" she cried, bouncing up and down, tugging on his suit jacket.
"I can't honey, I have to go to work now, I'll watch it tonight when I get home," he kneeled down and kissed her forehead.
While it was all going accordingly to plan…
"Tidus, Selphie, come eat some breakfast, you have to go to school in 20 minutes," Rinoa called, setting two plates of pancakes and eggs on the table. "Are you sure you can't just have a little something to eat?" she begged, looking to Squall.
"I'm sorry, I gotta go. I love you," he said apologetically, kissing her again. He turned to pick up his briefcase from the desk. "Bye, Selphie, honey. No fighting with sticks today, Tidus," he called and headed out the door.
Squall went to the usual route through the suburbs to the highway, but at a certain juncture, Squall took a detour. Five minutes later, Squall parked outside a medium sized apartment complex and rang the doorbell. At the sound of the buzzer, Squall opened the door and walked up to the third floor. At door #37, Squall knocked quietly, and heard the click of the lock opening.
Billy Brown fell in love with another man…
The blond that opened the door was wearing nothing but a pair of thin pajama pants, which was expected considering the early hour. The younger man grinned wickedly, and Squall couldn't help but grin back.
"It's about time, Leon," the blond said, leaning against the doorframe.
"Same time as always, Cloud."
"Get in here," was the demanding reply as Cloud reached out and grabbed Squall by the tie and pulled him through the door.
