A Day in the Life of Molly Weasley
(During the School Year)
6:00 AM- I wake up. I take a quick shower and go downstairs to start breakfast.
6:20 AM- Conjure bacon, eggs, toast, marmalade, jam, orange juice, and coffee. Jump out of the way as Percy apparates downstairs right behind me.
6:45 AM- Arthur finally apparates downstairs. I send him back up because he forgot to change out of his pajamas. Percy leaves for work 2 hours early.
7:00 AM- Arthur comes back down. He sits down and puts accidentally treacle in his coffee. I sigh and send him of to work. This is going to be a long day.
7:30 AM- I begin to make beds, sweep, wash dishes, and clean up in general.
9:30 AM- Time for de-gnoming.
10:15 AM- Get a letter from Hogwarts about Fred and George. They've blown up a toilet again. I send them a Howler (Their 3rd this week). Sometimes I wonder if they don't enjoy them.
11:00 AM- I use Floo Powder to get to Diagon Alley.
11:15 AM- Visit Gringotts. I empty our vault. The total amount is 11 Galleons, 15 Sickles, and 24 Knuts. I continue with my shopping.
12:00 PM- I have a very small lunch at the Leaky Cauldron.
1 PM- My shopping is done. I return to the Burrow.
1:30 PM- I finally get a chance to read the Daily Prophet. After being horrified by the rumors about You-Know-Who, I stop reading and watch a soap opera on the Wizarding Television Network.
2:00 PM- Percy sends an owl home. He's going to work late tonight finishing a report on Improving the Quality of Internationally Imported Brooms.
4:00 PM- Charlie sends an owl. He's in the area on business, and is coming to dinner tonight. He asks if I can please make my caramelized carrots? I feel slightly taken advantage of.
6:30 PM- Arthur returns home.
7:00 PM- Charlie arrives.
7:30 PM- We have dinner. Charlie tells us all about chasing dragons in Romania while stuffing his face with caramelized carrots.
8:17 PM- Another owl arrives from Hogwarts about Fred and George. I make a mental note to send them their fourth Howler this week in the morning.
9:30 PM- I decide to turn in early. Charlie thanks us for dinner and apparates back to his hotel.
11:15 PM- Percy comes home.
11:30 PM- Another owl arrives from Hogwarts. I rip off the envelope and toss it on the bedside table. 3 in one day is just too much. Arthur gives a snore and I extinguish the light.
