-Trunks! Kill me! Tapion shouted out.
- W-why? stuttered Trunks.
- This is my only request, fellow Trunks! This is the only way to defeat Hirudegarn! That dragon was sealed within my body and we are connected!
- What if... what if it's pointless? Trunks asked.
- Then I will die as a hero, Tapion said with a smile. And I will finally meet my brother. But none of you can be replaced. I'll always remember you as my second lil' bro'.

Hirudegarn turned his eyes from Goku and the others and gigantic as he was, he only needed two steps to go what would normally be 2 miles. He shot a fire blast against Tapion but Trunks rushed to his aid. "No not Tapion, I couldn't live without him, he's as close to me as my best friend Goten", thought Trunks.
-NOOOOO! Trunks yelled with agony as he turned super saijan 2.
-TAPIOON! GIVE ME YOUR SWORD! Trunks shouted, almighty as he had gained the powers of a god compared to a normal human.
Hirudegarn gave him one hit, 2 hits, and then 3 hits, Trunks crashed to the ground and turned normal. He could barely stand up.
Far away Goku sensed that Trunks was in danger.
- I'll go help Trunks! Goku said and turned super saijan 3.
-Stop! Gohan said. This is something between Trunks and Tapion.
Goku thought for a moment.
- But what if one of them dies, ever thought of that?
- At least, they'll die with honour.
- I can't let...
-Please dad, don't you know why Vegeta has given Trunks such a hard time? It's to make him stronger. Even though I'm happy you haven't been as tough on me... Gohan mumbled the last words.
Meanwhile... Trunks fought and fought. Far away Gohan and Goku watched over the scene. Finally the group, including Videl and Goten decided that they would help Trunks, but stay in the background, for once in their life's. This was Trunks moment to shine.

A light greater than any good occured at the scene. Now Goten and Trunks was one. The person that stood before them called himself - Gotenks. His hair was red and glowed like rubies. The electricity from his body was so strong it was visible and half of his chest was covered with monkeyhair.
It was over before anyone knew it. Gotenks gave Hirudegarn a big kick in the back that went through his stomach and made him pulverized.
