A small, golden-haired girl grasped tightly onto her mother's dress and sent shy glances around her leg at the other families dropping off their kids at the daycare. Looking up at her parents with her wide blue eyes, she asked fearfully, "Do I really have to go, mama, papa?"

Her father chuckled, picking the frightened toddler up and said, "Yes, Usagi, you do. Imagine all the friends that you'll meet while you're here."

Usagi pouted, clinging onto his dress shirt and protested, "But I want to stay with you, mama, and my baby brother or sister. I already have Haruka-chan and Mr. Berry as friends anyway."

Her mother raised a hand up from its perch on her swollen abdomen and rubbed the blonde's head affectionately while offering a reassuring smile to the troubled bunny. "Don't worry, Usagi. You'll be just fine here without us. We'll be gone only for a few hours."

Azure eyes filled with tears as the toddler's bottom lip started trembling. "But ..."

"You'll be fine. We'll have a surprise for you anyway when we pick you up," cooed Kenji, earning a glare from Ikuko and a grin from Usagi.

"Really?" cried Usagi in enthusiasm, her eyes glowing brilliantly with excitement as she looked between her parents.

Ikuko nodded, reminding herself to scold Kenji later for lying to their daughter. "Yes we are, so be good for your teachers today."

"Okay, mama!" squealed Usagi, planting a kiss on her mom's cheek before being sat down to stand on her own.

"See you later, Usagi, " said Kenji, pecking the cutie on her nose and gave her a quick squeeze.

Usagi giggled, turning around and called over her shoulder as she dashed away with a wave, "Bye, mama, papa! I love you!"

"Love you too, honey! Be good!" called back Ikuko, waving back at the retreating toddler.

Meanwhile, a dark blue-haired toddler exclaimed after she jumped out her friend's mom's van, "Wow! Look at all the other kids here!"

A silver-haired toddler made her way over to her friend's side, looking around with disinterest and stated, "Who cares? None of them are as cute as me." Then she yelped in pain when her mother pinched her side, giving her a scolding look.

The brunette one of the three toddled up to stand on the other side of the first toddler and said, "I don't want to be here either, Seiya. I want to be home with my mommy and reading a book."

The bluenette, Seiya, ignored her friends' complaints and turned her attention onto the white-haired woman, who brought them there. "This place looks like fun! Thank you, Kazumi-san."

Kazumi smiled, her amber eyes twinkling as she knelt down to give the bluenette a pat on the head. "You're welcome, Seiya. I hope that all of you enjoy your day here and make friends. "

"We will, mommy, " reassured Yaten after closing her mouth briefly upon receiving a look from her mother when she almost let slip a smart remark.

Seiya continued to take in her surroundings when her eyes fell on a pair of buns atop a small blonde's head as the other girl talked to her parents. Watching the blonde cutie bid her goodbyes and disappear into the daycare, she wondered to herself about the possibilities of being friends with the small girl when her friends' voices broke her trance.

"Bye, mommy!"

"Goodbye, Kazumi-san!"

Yaten turned around, along with Taiki, with a bored sigh to face the daycare once again and asked, "Ready to rock this place?"

Seiya smirked as Taiki nodded and drawled, "As the day I was born."

"Well then, let's go," declared Yaten as she stormed off afterwards, her friends following after her.
