So, here's my first fanfic that's not Harry Potter... :)
I love Charmed so much, and especially Cole/Phoebe...
I always felt kind of sorry for him, so here's a piece on how much he loved her
Human
She pushed a strand of hair out of her face, smiling slightly at him, making his heart beat a little bit faster. He smiled back, moving his hand up to her beautiful face and caressing it with the back of his hand. She leaned in to the caress, closing her eyes and letting out a low hum of affection, which yet again, increased his heart rate. When she opened her eyes again, all he could bring himself to do was look into those incredible brown orbs and pull her face forward for a kiss.
Though they had kissed many times, every single time was different; more special. The way her tongue massaged his, made his heart flutter in ways it shouldn't. The taste of her lips was unforgettable; unique; gorgeous. The electricity that pulsed through his veins was overwhelming – making him want her more and more; making him long for the touch of her skin.
But it was all so wrong. They were never meant to be together, not ever. It was forbidden in more ways than one, and if anybody found out about it, they would both be in trouble. But he knew it would be unfair to blame her. She was oblivious to his true form. She thought he was just another man; just a man who loved her. He couldn't believe how wrong a person could be, while being so right all at the same time. The truth was, he was a monster. He couldn't deny that fact – it was the way he was born, and he'd always embraced that half of himself. Now, he felt like a human man who existed only to love her. She had awakened the human half inside of him, and now he didn't want to let go.
"Phoebe," he whispered in her ear softly, making her smile. She leaned up to kiss him on the lips.
"Mmm?" she replied, gazing up at him. He smiled back down and placed his hand back on her face.
"I love you," he said, pulling her in for another kiss.
"I love you too, Cole," she said after they'd broken apart. "I always will."
Now, as he sat alone in his apartment trying his hardest to kill himself, he remembered this moment in history. Everything had been perfect then. He couldn't have asked for more. He had Phoebe Halliwell, the most beautiful woman to walk the planet, and she loved him with all of her heart. He wondered if, at that moment, Phoebe had known that she was making him a promise that she couldn't keep.
He wanted to die. Desperately. What else was there to live for? Loving Phoebe was everything to him, and her love had died.
Grabbing the knife he'd left on the table, he held it up by his throat.
"I love you Phoebe," he said before slitting his throat.
…
And he was still here...
Alone...
Empty...
Worthless...
Why couldn't he have just been human?
