This Summer Disney has brought you a film made by the first female director of a Pixar film: Brenda Chapman who helped with the production of the totally awesome Prince of Egypt movie….Only to be replaced for having ideas that the suits didn't agree with.

Meet Princess Merida a young, tough, pretty, smart, athletic, funny, stubborn, rebellious, sarcastic, and self-centered... but underneath it all, she has a kind and heroic heart tomboy who's rebelling against her parent's marriage orders as if we haven't seen that in other Disney movies (Little Mermaid, Pocahontas, Aladdin, and many more cliche's)

Watch as Merida tries to avoid marrying the three potential suitors, runaway from responsibilities, selfishly make her own decisions, and begins to strip-err I mean tear her dress up in front of other clansmen while trying to compete for her own hand in marriage. Ooh man she's hot…Wait she's only sixteen?! I was just joking about that hot thing! I can't go to jail!

Her Mother Queen Elinor who is a total Super MILF, a Proper Lady who is so uptight you think she had about twenty-thousand sticks up her butt who hates the fact that her daughter is a tomboy and should be obedient but….Damn is she hot as hell. Her father King Fergus a man-child who is probably one of the best characters in the movie who lost his leg to the most evil and demonic looking bear that will cause you kids to lose control of their bladders and bowels…..Mor'du.

Join Merida as she tries to changer her fate by bribing a witch, falling off a horse, feeding her mother a cake, Escorting her mother out of the castle after being transformed into a bear with the aid of her brothers, blowing up the witch's house, letting her brothers eat the cake that changed their mother, and have a complete climatic battle with the aid of her family against Mor'du only to believe she has arrived late with the tapestry she repaired that would turn her mother back into a human. A plot a bit cliched it doesn't get better until the third act for some viewers(Just ask Doug Walker)

See Merida and Elinor bond under the circumstances of a child and her mother…..who was just transformed into a bear and struggles while trying to remain a human inside of her mind while in the body of the bear, survive the harshness of nature in the 14th century Scotland? (15th century?), and watch as the heartwarming moments of the film make adults cry like little babies.

Huh...I did enjoy that she didn't get with any of those guys but if she did she and Scottish Thor would be cute together…..Wait Chapman had originally planned that?! Bullsh*t!...Damn Disney you ruined it...Man they better not ruin The Snow Queen!
