Moonlight Romance
By Christina Caster
It's a beautiful starry night in July; I had just gotten out of my weekly meeting at the Dance Station. I am currently the captain and waiting to be the Head Master. "Tonight sure is beautiful" I said. I walk a little further down the path way that I use every week it just so happens to be in the park too. I walk be a little pond, it looks, at first glance, like there are millions of little sparking diamonds in it making it shimmer. I look into it and see my reflection. My ankle length chocolate colored hair seems even darker in the night it looks almost black, and teal colored eyes reflect my pain and sadness for what has happened tonight. My pale cream colored face is red from crying so much, I see that my make up is ruined now but I don't care anymore. I look at my torn and tattered dress, which earlier today was shining like the sun and was the most beautiful shimmering blue you've ever seen but was now dull and colorless. Why am I wearing a dress you ask and, why am I crying in the park. Well I'll tell you it all started with earlier today when I was getting ready for the military ball. ~Flash Back~
