Save the People

Save the people. That's what the princess charged me with.
I don't see why, though. Every time I go outdoors, some girls yell "EEEEEEEEKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!! IT'S LINK!!!!!!!" and runs in the house, their "hospitality" consisting of running for the guards.
It bites. Agahmin tells the people I kidnapped the princess. I did not kidnap her. I saved her! But they believe him over me.
Sometimes I think consequences be damned, let the people perish as slaves of Agahmin. They'd see too late that I was right and by then, I'd be a rabbit in the Dark World.
Then I think of the beautiful face of Zelda. Scarred and bruised by the uncaring and lustful hands of the wizard.
Then I think of my uncle. He died defending Zelda and he would want me to do the same.
Only for my uncle would I save the people. Even if they are jerks.
