So here I am with a new story. This will be a NaLu fic, and I'm really excited!

Oh my gosh, I've actually gotten around to editing the first chapter. When I read this, I visibly grimaced from some of the errors here. My style has changed quite a bit over the past year. Clap for me folks -silence-
I might be updating this in the next month or so, just got to get my ideas back on track as I cannot remember where I was going with it.
Lucy's PoV
I opened the doors of Fairy Tail with a big grin on my face, Natsu coming in with me. I couldn't wait to tell them the big news. It was a sunny day and everyone was in a good mood. It seemed even the plants were smiling as my shoes thudded on the wooden floor. Natsu and I grinned at each other and went to into Master Makarov's office.
He was as short as ever, sorting through papers that were littered around. Makarov glanced up at us, before lifting a stack of papers off of his chair and placing them on the floor.
"Council," he muttered before sitting down, glancing at us and giving us a notion to speak.
"Master, could you gather the guild together? We have some big news!" I said, beaming through a blush was plastered on my face. He nodded before entering the guild hall, shouting very loudly at the crowd that we had an announcement.
After the whole guild had gathered, I stood on the bar and looked at all the curious faces below us. All of our friends were standing silently. Levy was smiling at me, and Gray was stripping. Juvia kept glancing at me, then back at Gray. Erza looked uncertain, while Lisanna smiled, and Happy ate some fish.
"I have some big news everyone!" I announced, smiling. Suddenly, I grew nervous, and my eyes swept downward to look at the floor. What would they think of me if I told them? How will they react? Will they think bad of me? Questions swirled around in my head, and a tingling of unease entered my thoughts. I squirmed a little, suddenly self conscious.
Natsu must have sensed my qualms, because he lifted my face and flashed me his toothy grin. He moved his hand to the small of my back and rubbed it soothingly. That gave me the confidence I needed to continue.
"This morning I found out, I'm... uh... pregnant," I said, still slightly nervous. A gasp seemed to leave each guild member's mouths, and then silence ensued. I stood still, anxiously waiting for the reply. Everyone was shocked, but one by one they started to smile, the first smiler being Levy.
"Congrats Lu-chan!" Levy said, pulling me off the bar and into her arms. Everyone grinned and gave their congratulations. Natsu climbed off the bar and wrapped me in his arms; The gesture elicited a large 'awwe' from the audience. Lisanna and Levy took turns asking me multiple questions, which included what the possible baby names were and if Natsu had marked me yet.
"Natsu and I were thinking Emi for a girl and Masaru for a boy," I chuckled. "Yes, he has marked me as his mate."
I slowly pulled my blue and white t-shirt up, to reveal a red mark that included two dragons circling each other, located on my lower abs. Lisanna and I had become fast friends when she came back from Edolas. Even though Lisanna was overprotective of Natsu, and made me a little jealous at times, I didn't mind as Natsu saw her as a sister. Lisanna, Levy, and I were a trio.
"Oooo! I'm so happy for you! I can't wait to find my love life!" Lisanna squealed, and Levy squealed with her. I just rolled my eyes and laughed. We all knew who was meant for Levy.
"I had this all planned out!" Mira chortaled. "I just knew that you two were meant to be!"
I face-palmed at this. Mira was always trying to get us two together.
"Oi, Luce! I'm gonna teach him all my moves!" Natsu roared, spouting fire from his mouth, and burning down one of the tables. Natsu and I had found out when he'd grown worried from my constant throwing up. He's very dense about woman, and how their body works, so I took the liberty to buy some pregnancy tests. I took the it and ding; It was positive. I was shocked at first, but soon that had turned into joy, especially for Natsu.
What makes you think it's a he? It could be a she," I watched his playful mischief, chuckling lightly.
"But it'll definitely be a dragon slayer!" Natsu said, excited. "We'll train together, become strong together, and be the best father and son team!"
I rolled my eyes at him, giggling. He was just so cute and irresistible. The fangirl inside was on overdrive, and I just wanted to squish and pull his face into different shapes. I imagined the options: a kitten, a dog, a dragon...
I smiled my signature smile at him, and he gave me his big toothy grin. Ever the drinker, Cana slammed down her barrel of beer and stood up. She suddenly started chanting.
"Kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss," She continued repeatedly, loud and clear. The guild quieted down and I shot a glare at her that held no anger. Soon, the entire guild was chanting it, much to my embarrassment.
Natsu and I flushed a deep shade of red, and I glanced at him shyly. I walked over to him and everyone formed a big circle around us, speculating. Natsu opened his arms and gave me a big hug, and I snuggled into him.
"That isn't a kiss!" Was suddenly shouted from the audience, who I suspected to be Mira. Natsu released me from his embrace before holding me at arms length.
Natsu smirked and gave me a huge kiss, and I kissed him back. The entire guild cheered, while Gray threw his clothes into the air. We both murmured at the same time:
"I love you."
Natsu and I were sitting in my apartment. I looked at the job he had placed in front of me, a fidgeting mess. His hands were fisted at his sides, the excitement and energy practically leaking out.
Catch the Jewelry Thief!

A mage continuously steals various pieces

Normal PoV
"So, Luce, what do ya think? It'll be our celebration mission!" Natsu paced around the room, a pep to his step. He secretly wanted to propose to her after the job was done. He'd had the ring in his pocket for ages, and he wanted it to be the perfect moment.
"That's great Natsu! We'll fight together!" Lucy smiled, feeling excited. Happy flew on to Lucy's lap and gazed into her huge brown eyes. "I'll be a brother!"
"Yes, you will! I'll be a father! Natsu roared. Lucy giggled and asked when they were to leave.
"Tomorrow Luce, and it'll just be me and you! No Erza or ice princess. Sorry Happy, but could you stay at Fairy Tail?"
"Aye sir!" Happy responded. He didn't mind as he was happy for Natsu. He figured they'd want some alone time.
Lucy flashed a grin and hugged Natsu. Natsu was overjoyed. Lucy was finally his. When a dragon slayer mates, they mate for life. Natsu was sure he would love Lucy for life.
He had loved Lucy ever since her father had tried to kidnap her using a guild. It made him realize how much he needed her, and how much he loved her. Now she was his. Forever.
Lucy's PoV
I climbed into my large queen size bed, while Happy fell asleep on a cushion bed I made for him. Natsu climbed in next to me, placing his arms around my waist. My night gown ruffled under the sheets as he pulled me closer to him.
"You... are... mine," He whispered into my ear. I sighed happily and melted into his embrace, falling asleep in his arms.
Today was the day of our mission, but it was really our romantic getaway. Wendy gave Natsu a motion sickness tablet so he wouldn't cause me any trouble. He graciously accepted it, making Wendy giggle. Happy flew by and gave him a thumbs up. The blue exceed landed on a table in the guild, grinning.
"You better bring me some fish back!"
"Anything for my little buddy!" I patted Happy on the head, we all knew how much he loved fish.
I wished everyone farewell and met up with Natsu by the front doors, and waved at everyone for the last time.
"Bye everyone!" Natsu roared, dragging me out of the guild. We strode to the train station and got on the next train to Luna Forest, a town within a forest. On the ride there, Natsu (Stupidly) destroyed the seat in front of him with fire from his excitement. He almost burned the seat he was sitting on, but I quickly summoned Virgo who doused the fire before the staff could kick us off the train.
When we arrived at Luna Forest, it was certainly a sight to behold. The flora was amazingly beautiful and colourful. Even though it was midday, it was extremely dark. There were street lights to help you see, and everything was well marked. I assumed they received a lot of tourists.
"Let's get the job done quickly so we can explore the town!" Natsu exclaimed. I nodded in agreement and we followed the address to the client, who owned a jewelry store. He explained to us that we needed to guard the warehouse, full of jewelry, as the current guard had some private business tonight and couldn't do his job. Natsu and I happily nodded. The old man took us to the warehouse, and said if we catch the thief our reward would be doubled.
"We'd better catch the thief then!" I proclaimed, punching the air. Natsu mimicked my movements.
"Hell yeah we will! I'm all fired up!" The old man nodded at us, then walked back to the jewelry store, which was in front of the warehouse. He said he'd be there if we needed anything.
We stood, waiting for the thief for three hours, and he still had yet to show himself. The old man had said he doesn't come around every night, but he didn't want to take his chances. The jewelry was very high-end.
I continuously stared at Natsu in the free time. I was certainly in love, as I couldn't help but think about him all the time. He was so handsome, with his stunning salmon hair and his deep onyx eyes. His personality was equally, if not better than his looks. I subconsciously lifted up my shirt and stroked my mark, the mark of a mate.
I motioned for Natsu to sit down next to me. After looking around quickly to make sure the thief was nowhere in sight, he plopped himself down.
Normal PoV
Natsu looked around, bored. Man, this thief is taking way too long to show up! I wanna propose to Lucy!
He then noticed Lucy motioning for him to sit down next to her. Giving the warehouse one last check, he sat down next to her. Lucy. His Lucy.
"What's up, Luce?" Natsu asked her quietly, staring into her big brown eyes. She looked like an angel to him, one that descended right out of heaven.
"I just can't believe we are going to have a child together! It'll be crazy!" She said to him, half worried, and half excited for what was to come.
Natsu smiled, "No, it won't Luce. We can get through the crazy hard parts and to the parts where we have fun!"
"Yeah Natsu, I guess you're-" Lucy stopped mid sentence; Natsu stood up alert and ready. Suddenly, a black hooded figure came out of the shadows. It slowly started walking toward the duo.
"Fire Dragon Roar!" Natsu shouted, running forward, aiming at the hooded figure. The figure stuck out a hand, and jewelry came out from inside the form and blocked the attack. Jewelry was now flying everywhere.
"This is definitely our jewelry thief, Luce. Let's take him down!" Natsu roared. Lucy nodded and pulled out her celestial keys. Before she could say anything, a piece of jewelry stole her keys, flew back to the hooded figure, and the keys disappeared inside him, as if he was swallowing them.
"Hey!" Lucy said, and Natsu growled. Who the hell is this guy? Stealing Lucy's keys, he'll pay!
Lucy felt a presence behind her. Wheeling around, something suddenly clasped around her throat. Natsu turned around, and saw Lucy lying on the floor, unconscious. A necklace with a black pendant was around her neck, and It seemed to be glowing.
"Lucy!" He shouted, running toward her, intending to save her.
"I've got what I came for," the hooded man said. He quickly picked up Lucy and disappeared with her, not leaving a trace behind. It was as if he was a ghost.
Natsu howled, "Lucy!"
No response came. Only the quiet voice of the wind was to be heard.
Lucy's PoV
When I woke up, I couldn't remember anything about myself. It was if my memories had just disappeared. What was my name, my hair colour, who were my friends? I had absolutely no clue and I was starting to panic.
As I sat up, I noticed I was in a grand room. It was huge and widely spaced. The walls and floor were completely black. I was lying in a huge, king sized bed. I wore a black dress, and a necklace with a black pendant. It shone and glimmered and I found myself fingering it.
Someone knocked on the black door. I tentatively said, "C-come in."
A man, who looked in his early twenties, walked in. He had coal coloured hair, and a fancy suit. He sat on the edge of the bed.
Man, the people here must really like black, huh.
"Do you... remember anything?" He asked me, edging ever closer to me in a way that almost made me feel uncomfortable. He was the only person here though, and I figured I might as well ask questions.
"Just who are you... and who am I?" I questioned.
