Summary: Season 3 was a bad time for Sam. Dean's busy researching places to visit before his deal comes due.
"What're you doing, Dean?"
Sam's forced to dump the takeout bags onto his bed, the small table being completely covered with scribbled-over and scrumpled-up scraps of paper. Dean doesn't look up from where he's filling another notepad with scrawling capitals.
Sam unwraps one of the burgers and wafts it under Dean's nose, grinning when it twitches at the juicy meaty scent. Kind of like a dog, Sam thought. His smile fades at Dean's next words, though.
"S'my bucket list, Sammy. Did you know there's a Fort Misery in Arizona? We can swing by on the way to the Grand Canyon."
Author's note: Yep, Fort Misery is near Prescott, Arizona in Yavapai county. It's in wikipedia and other places on the interwebz, so it must be true.
