"Draco, baby, how's it going? Glad to have you here, Dray!" Draco Malfoy's sleazy boss Dan Danforth (Yeah, original name, ain't it?) said smoothly in his reporter voice. Draco scowled; as much as he loved his job, he despised his boss.
Draco Malfoy was a reporter for the Daily Prophet, the most well-known wizarding newspaper. He was well-paid, and enjoyed his job, but, as was stated before, his boss was the lowest of lowly roaches in existence. His girlfriend, Rita Skeeter, didn't help.
"What d'ya want, Danforth?" Draco snarled, walking briskly toward his office. Dan trailed after him, pathetically, trying to win him over.
"Well, I just need a favor, Dray. See, Liz is out on sick leave, and you know that Puddlemere United just got a new Seeker. I need you to get the scoop!" Dan said with his most winning smile. Draco scowled.
"I do not do sports reports. I hate talking to brainless jocks that are twice as big as me!" Draco snapped. Dan's easy smile quickly faded, and was replaced by a threatening grimace.
"Well, you're going to have to, Malfoy, or your job's on the line." Draco scowled, then nodded, grudgingly. "Good. Now, Puddlemere's next game is in Falmouth, and they'll be staying there for two weeks before the game. I've booked a hotel in Falmouth, and I want you to hang around the team, especially the Seeker. And I'm talking stalkage, Dray, not just distant watching. I want you to know everything about the team! Puddlemere's Seeker is the hottest thing since Count Chocula was discovered to be a real person!"
"Yeah, yeah, I'll see what I can do. But you'd better pay me bigtime for this, Dan," Draco growled.
"Great! I want you to leave tomorrow!" Dan said, back in his fake reporter-cheery voice.
"Who is this Seeker, anyway?" Draco growled. Dan chuckled.
"You should read the paper more often." Scowling, Draco Apparated home to begin packing.
