Kagome sat in her room, math book and various other kinds of homework in front of her. She was chewing on her pencil, supposedly studying for an upcoming test, except that her mind was on something else. Or, more specifically, someone else. She sighed and put the pencil down, leaning back in her chair. Kagome closed her eyes and thought about the day before, how suddenly she had left Feudal Japan. All because of Kikyo. Kikyo had been with Inuyasha, again. Kagome had left in a huff, sitting Inuyasha many times before jumping into the Bone Eaters Well.

"Inuyasha..."

Kagome sighed and got up, shutting her math book and shoving it into her backpack. She stood for a few seconds, and then decided she might as well go to bed, she wouldn't be doing that homework anytime soon. There were other things on her mind. Lying down on the soft bed, she closed her eyes and sighed. She could picture Inuyasha. His big golden eyes, long silver hair, his red kimono. She missed him so much. Kagome was just falling asleep, still thinking about Inuyasha, when she heard a small thump near her bedroom window. Kagome's eyes snapped open and she sat up, grabbed her alarm clock and flung it towards her window. She heard it hit something, then was surprised to hear a voice.

"What the hell was that?!"

Kagome jumped out of bed and flipped the light on. Inuyasha was sitting on the floor, rubbing his head, and looking extremely angry.

"Inuyasha!"

Inuyasha looked up and saw Kagome running towards him. His mood immediately softened and he stood up. He wrapped her in a hug and kissed the top of her head.

"I... I'm sorry, Kagome..."

Kagome was both surprised and overjoyed at what was happening. Then she remembered what he was sorry about. A single tear slid down her face as she buried her head in his bright red kimono. Inuyasha held her tighter and took in her scent. Her wonderful scent.

"Kagome, I'm sorry. Don't be mad. I... I love you, Kagome..."

Inuyasha pushed Kagome away a little, so that he would be able to see her reaction, but instead looked unhappier then when she had thrown the clock at him. Kagome had fallen asleep. Inuyasha snorted and carried her over to her bed. Putting her down as gently as possible, he smiled a little.

"Kagome, you idiot..."

Inuyasha smiled again, then jumped out the window. He had a feeling he would be seeing Kagome in the Feudal Era tomorrow.
