Prologue...
It was a cold and mysterious night on the grounds of Hogwarts. All the tired little ruffians were sleeping in their cozy little beds unaware of the scenes that lie ahead.
"Why aren't they here yet? I was told that they would be here at exactly 12:00 midnight. Do you think anything could have gone wrong?" asked Dumbledore worriedly .
"Nothing happened, if anything happened they could take care of themselves," replied Snape in a harsh manner.
"But they haven't been trained. They don't know how to use it and what they do know they can't use very well."
"I know their families. Their fathers would not send them out without the basic knowledge of self-defense."
As the two waited fidgeting a twig snapped in the distance.
"What was that….is it them?" asked Dumbledore.
Three figures emerged from the shadows reveling three battered looking teens.
