Vanessa enters the Woolpack looking for Kirin, while on a quick lunch break following an earlier domestic. Rhona spots her, while with Paddy and notices she is looks worried and anxious. Rhona hurries over to her.
"Vanessa love are you OK?" Rhona approaches.
"Oh hiya, just looking for Kirin," Vanessa states.
"Are you OK, you look drained?" Rhona suspects.
"No, I'm fine, just been up at Moira's, cow in labour," Vanessa claims.
"Is that all?" Rhona queries.
"What is this an interrogation?" Vanessa snaps.
Suddenly, Vanessa catches Victoria giving her a really hateful stares from behind the kitchen door. Vanessa tries to hide her shame, following another frollick with Adam, which has cut the upcoming short. Rhona wonders what has got Vanessa wound up and tries to get her attention.
"Vanessa, you've been like this for ages, just what is going on?" Rhona worries.
"Rhona, it's none of your business," Vanessa insists.
Rhona again glances to Victoria and then to Vanessa once more and it suddenly clicks, why Victoria has been giving her the evil eye.
"Oh Vanessa, you haven't?" Rhona figures.
"Like I said, it's none of your business," Vanessa argues. "Now leave me alone."
Vanessa storms out, leaving Rhona shocked. Vanessa has once again, cheated on her younger boyfriend, with another younger man. Rhona thinks it's to do with her cancer scare, but there maybe more to it, than that. Paddy moves from his occupied table and proceeds to his wifes side, who shows desperate concern for her best friend.
"What's going on?" Paddy asks.
"I think Vanessa has had it away with Adam again," Rhona says.
"How do you know that?" Paddy frowns.
"Coz, I caught the slag and him in bed together that's why," Victoria interrupts. "You tell her Rhona, she comes anywhere within a ten foot radius of me, I will scratch her eyes out."
"That's a very professional comment to make, while at work Victoria," Rhona acknowledges. "That's like Gross Misconduct if I'm not mistaken, never mind threatening violence."
Without so much as looking to her husband, Rhona marches on out of the Woolpack, leaving Paddy on the spot. Victoria arrogantly folds her arms, in disgust.
"Well, I'm sorry if I'm a victim of adultry," Victoria moans.
"I think you have to been married to experience that," Paddy adds.
"You should know...Umm...wasn't that Vanessa and Rhona by any chance?" Victoria counters.
"Tu shay, Vic."
