Atomic Betty. Tears of an admirer from the stars. Part 1

Genre, Romance, Drama, friendship

Betty sat down next to Noah in the theatre just as the movie started. "Where were you?" He asked. "You said you'd only be gone with that Becca chick for five minutes and you didn't come back for half an hour." It's kind of hard to explain." Betty said. "Don't worry about it." Noah said. "Penelope kept me company." Betty and Penelope were sort of friends now and Betty knew that she was in love with Noah. "Thanks Penelope." Betty said. "No problem girlfriend." Penelope answered. Suddenly Betty's bracelet beeped. "I...I." Betty stammered. "Don't bother," Noah said. "Just go." Betty ran out of the theatre and into the girl's bathroom. She pressed a button on her bracelet and Admiral DeGill appeared in a hologram. "Atomic Betty." He said." Zulia has invited you to her sister Marcia's wedding and it is mandatory that you attend." "I'd love to Admiral," Betty said. "But I don't even have a dress to wear." "Zulia has ordered one that I believe you would look smashing in." DeGill said. "Fine." Betty said. Beam me up.

The wedding scene was gorgeous. Betty walked through the garden wearing the pink dress that Sparky's mom had told her to wear. Everything was so quiet until suddenly… "Betty!" Betty turned around to see Sparky's identical twin sister Becca running towards her. She was wearing a black spaghetti strap dress with fishnet tights. "You look awesome!" She squealed. She was just like her brother. "Thanks." Betty said. "You too."

"You should see my bro." Becca said.

Betty was walking around and ploughed right into a rather easy on the eyes Neutropian boy in a white formal suit . "I'm sorry." Betty said but when she looked up she gasped. "Sparky?" The alien shuffled nervously. "Hi chief ." He said. " You look incredible."

Betty stammered. "Thanks." Sparky said. "You're the prettiest girl here." When he realized what he had said, he turned bright red. "Well sorry to leave like this." Betty said.

"But I have to go. Bye." "Wait chief." Sparky said quickly. Betty turned around. "Yeah." She said. Sparky took a deep breath. "Will you d…dance with me before you go." He asked. Betty could see that his moon white eyes were pleading with her. "Alright." She said. She walked onto the dance floor with him and they started to move to the slow romantic music. Betty had once secretly wondered what it would be like to slow dance with Sparky. "This is kind of nice." She thought. When the song ended, Betty quickly pulled away. "Thanks for the dance." Betty shouted as she ran back to the taxi ship. "See you tomorrow. Noah's waiting for me.

The next day, Betty went to check the mail box. She was stunned when she saw what was inside. A red rose and a letter were pushed neatly into a corner. Betty lifted them out. They were addressed to her. She ran to the side of the house and opened the letter. It said…

Dear Betty. Though I see you every day it seems like an eternity since we last saw each other. I am the boy whose heart you broke so many times. But thank you for making at least one of my dreams come true.

I love you forever. Your admirer from the stars.
