Luna never felt something like that before. She usually only admires people she knows like Harry or her dad or Neville. But for some reason, she admires Rolf Scamander. It's the way he writes probably, and the fact that he is passionated by animals, and the way he defends the causes that are important for him.
She doesn't even have met him but she feels like she knows him. It's crazy and she knows it, so she decides to meet him for real.
She arrives in Argentina and the first thing she does is to ask where "Rolf, el naturalista" works. She is directed to a beautiful pen in the forest.
She's disappointed at first, she had imagined him tall and unique and original with strawberry blond hair. But he's not that tall, is dressed like anybody would, and he has brown hair.
But that doesn't keep her from asking for an interview as the represent of the Quibbler. He politely declines the offer. It's really bad timing, an Abraxan is going to calve anytime soon, he needs to witness the birth. It never had been witnessed by human eye before, so it's important, he excuses himself.
She understands and asks if she can come to witness it too, again it's declined, but for security matters this time. The creatures are easily afraid by people they don't know. She knows it, but still, she's disappointed.
The next week, after the birth of Abrazina, she comes back and ask him for a job interview. Because honestly, she's liking Argentina reserve more and more. Unfortunately, the team is complete and anyway; he's not the boss here even if he seems to be, he says smiling at her.
The next time she decides to go, it's for a last tentative of interview because she needs to leave in two days. She is sadden because she can't even see him, he's working in the forest and won't be back before a week. And she leaves Argentina without having what she wanted.
It's two month later when she hears about Rolf again. He is in England, apparently he wrote a book about the Abraxan giving birth and he needs a publisher. She wonders if her father can publish it. It turns out that Xenophilius Lovegood is interested in his daughter's project and encourages her to do so.
But, by the time she can find his adress in England, a well-known publishing company has already bought the rights of Rolf's books and leaves Luna disconcerted and she almost forget about him.
She's carefree, enjoying an ice cream with strawberries in Diagon Alley when someone sits beside her on the bench. She recognizes Rolf and smiles at him.
"I've been told by my secretary that you badly wanted an interview with me but I wasn't there," he starts. He has no trouble recognizing the girl with radish earings.
"I admire you," she tells him. She doesn't even bother adding 'your work' because she admires his work, but him too. "So, are you free for an interview while you're in England?"
"What would you say to go out on a date instead?"
