Everyone knows how close Gil and Fritz were... I kinda see Fritz leaving the land to Gil, hence this random poem

in no way historically correct

The True Prince of Prussia

In a land far away

A land forgotten in time

Laid the land of Prussia.

Many a fine king it'd seen.

But once came a time

where a king had no heir

and fights broke out

to say who was king.

A young lad, a fine lad

a Teutonic Knight

who had known the past king oh so very well

Claimed to the priests and dukes and lords

he was the true prince of Prussia.

"NEIN! LIES!" they yelled

the young soldier stood still

"I promise, tis true" he said

they yelled and screamed

and the young knight stood silent

The true prince lay silent

appointed by the heirless late king

The dukes and nobles overpowered the young

soldier in court, and one of their greedy men rose to power

The true prince of Prussia kept quiet

loyally serving the land he loved

the land he should be ruler over

He watched in silence

as the greedy man plunged his great kingdom into ruins

A revolt was started and the great soldier put it down

"But sir, he murders out brothers and kills our kingdom!" citizens cried

the rightful prince kept quiet , and watched on.

Soon the man was conspired against

and he lay dead

again the arument came for he too was heirless

"I tell you once more, I am the true prince of Prussia"

They scorned and laughed, yelling

"Riffraff! Scum! Begone!"

a true soldier he was, staying silent.

A new king took over, a fool, a beast.

The land, his land, was plagued. He watched in horror

In fear, longing to save the land.

But the last king destroyed the land past being saved

And the land did perish.

The true prince stood in the ashes of his land

a tear on his proud cheek.

He took the crown he would never wear

and left the land that would forever be his.
