This is a Christmas One Shot for RatedrKjErIcHo.
Chloe Orton smiled as she watched as her husband, Randy, put the final gifts under the tree. "The kids are going to love this." She said as she took a bite out of the cookies the kids had left for Santa.
"I hope so." Randy smiled and took one also. "We got them everything they asked Santa for."
She smiled and thought about their kids. Jake was four and Liv was two. She was glad that Liv was finally at an age where she could enjoy Christmas more than she did last year. They finished with the presents and headed to their bedroom. They knew Jake would wake them up early.
Sure enough, the next morning, Jake had them up at 6am. Chloe smiled as she sat on the floor with Liv in her lap as she helped her daughter open her gifts. Randy was filming as Jake sat on the floor near her opening his own gifts.
"Mommy, look what Santa got me." Jake said as he held up the radio control truck.
"That's nice Jakey." She smiled. "I guess the Elf reported to Santa how good you were."
"Where is Mr. Magic?" He asked mentioning the name of their Elf on the Shelf. They had gotten it the year before for Jake and Liv.
Chloe laughed. "He will be back. But right now, he is with Santa getting ready for next year. Enjoy your presents Jakey." She smiled and turned her attention to Liv. "Look at your beautiful baby, Livvie." She said to her.
"Baby." Liv said with a giggle.
"Yes, baby." Chloe smiled. She looked at Randy. "Are you getting this?"
"Of course." He replied with a smile. "I would never miss this."
Both he and Chloe smiled and laughed along with the kids as they opened the presents. Each one must have had about twenty presents or more each.
"Is there anything we didn't buy the kids?" Randy asked as they cleaned up the wrapping paper as the kids played with their toys.
She laughed. "I don't think so." She replied. "We pretty much got them everything."
He laughed and walked over to her. "I think there is one more gift under the tree."
"Really?" She asked looking. "I don't see anything."
He smiled and pulled a gift from behind his back. "I think this belongs to you."
She smiled and took it. She quickly opened it. "Oh my gosh, Randy. It's perfect."
"I'm glad you think so." He said as he put the bracelet on her wrist. "There is a charm for each important thing in our marriage. Our first date, our first trip together, our wedding, our honeymoon, and one for each of the kids. Plus plenty of room to add more."
She smiled. "And speaking of that, I have a present for you as well." She walked over to the tree and pulled out a box that was hidden. "Merry Christmas."
He took the box and opened it. He looked from it to her. "Are you serious?"
"Yes, I'm four weeks." He picked her up and hugged her tightly.
"I can't believe this."
"I know it's not when we planned to have another one."
"It's great. I hope we have another little boy. That way, Liv is the only girl."
She laughed and kissed him. "I love you Randy and our family."
"I love you too." He said as he kissed her. He pulled away and hugged her tightly and they turned to where the kids were. They both smiled at Liv and Jake. Next year they would have one more little one and both couldn't wait.
