Melissa: (Voice Over) I met Lockdown when I was only six years old, and somehow I knew he was alive. (Shows image of young Melissa crawling into the front passenger seat of a black muscle car. She opens the glove compartment and finds a silver necklace with a dream catcher pendant) My father was a drag racer, but died in an accident two years after I met his newest car. Now, ten years later, here I am. The Queen of Drag Racing and the most powerful freshman in college.
Sam: (About Melissa) Who's that?
Miles: Melissa Anne Ulrich, the Queen of Drag Racing.
Sam: Queen?
Miles: According to what I hear, she's never lost a race…ever.
Sam: Well, there's a first time for everything.
Melissa: (To Sam) You're challenging me?
Sam: (To Melissa) You could say that.
Melissa: Bring it on…and good luck.
She lived her life to fulfill her father's legacy…
Peter: (To Melissa, about Sam) This kid's nuts if he thinks he can beat you!
Melissa: (To Peter) I just wanna see if he's worth my time.
Peter: If you ask me, I think you take this way too seriously.
But what she doesn't know…
Lockdown: (To Melissa) You've been a part of this war for a decade now, kid.
Melissa: (To Lockdown) How do I get out?
Lockdown: You don't.
Can lead to her true destiny!
Lockdown: (To Melissa) You've worn that necklace since the day we met, Kid. Through the charm, we have become close to each other.
Melissa: How close exactly?
Lockdown: I'm as close to you as your own heart, as you've become as close to me as my spark.
Melissa: (Sighs) Well, that explains a few things.
Most will come to destroy her…
(Shows clip of Melissa being attacked by Scorponok)
Others will fight to defend her…
Optimus: (To Melissa) Are you Melissa Anne Ulrich?
Melissa: (To Optimus, nodding) Yeah, I am.
Optimus: Evil is at work here, Melissa. You are the key to ending this war.
Melissa: Me? What can I do?
But only one can save her!
Optimus: (To Lockdown) You had better protect Melissa at all costs. I want your word as a bounty hunter.
Lockdown: (To Optimus) I'm not doin' it for you. I'm doin' it for her. But you have my word, Prime.
Mikaela: (To Melissa) Your future's your own.
Melissa: (To Mikaela) Apparently not, or else I wouldn't be here.
Mikaela: You didn't have to choose Lockdown.
Melissa: I didn't… (Screen goes black) He chose me…

Sam: (To Melissa, about her necklace) You half Indian or something?
Melissa: (To Sam, grips her Dream Catcher charm) No, I found it in my car.
Megan Fox…
Mikaela: (To Melissa) I didn't know a muscle car had the power to race.
Melissa: (To Mikaela) Well, this isn't an ordinary muscle car. He used to be my dad's.
Mikaela: He?
Melissa: Yeah, he.
