Five's Betrayal
Chapter 1
"What...Have...I...Done!" I look at my desk, clutching my hair. The Mogs have been keeping me alive, but ordering me to kill Nine... I didn't want to do it, worse of all, it's Eight I killed! I slam a fist on my desk. The guard Mog notices and says "What's wrong Five?!", "Nothing!" I say. I look down and see an ant, dead. I feel guilty. Not only that I killed an ant, I killed Eight. Tears roll down my eyes when I see a green light shine. I look my hand, baffled by what this new Legacy could be. The ants fluids then started to gather around her body. 'Ants are female unless there alates... Oh God, I'm nerding around while a new legacy is forming' I think. The ant's antennae pop up, she then stands up and run away. The green glow then went away. My eyes pop open wide, I've got Resurrection. Lorien then pops into my mind. I remember Pittacus resurrecting my mom. She was a Garde and she was powerful. She, alone, destroyed an army of Mogs approaching our ship. Six then came, then Seven, then... I can't say his name. Nine came last then my cousin, Devektra fought a Piken. Heh, it's ironic that my family fought most Mogs and... I'm chickening out. Wait a minute... One's body is with... Two and Three! I can resurrect them! I'm confident. My Legacies develop faster than normal Gardes. But they won't let me out. I walk towards my bed. Underneath it is the Leather Sleeve. I pull it around my arm. The blade comes out. "Awesome," I smirk. I touch the wall and my arm turns into stone, I stop it when it reaches my shoulder. I punch on the door and break out easily. I stab the Guard Mog through the neck and he - I mean it - turns into ash.
I run downwards the staircase killing every Mog I encounter. I see the scientist's lab. I open the door, lock it and I run to the Scientist. He threw some stuff at me, it burnt my leg but that doesn't matter. I stabbed him in the heart and threw a deadly strike to his head which caused it to turn 180 degrees. "Yeah! That's for One, Two, Three and Eight!" I snap. I take the bodies of the Fallen Gardes. I start with Eight, I'll explain to him as soon as I can. I press my hand on his heart. The green glow starts. Eights eyes glow with it and I can hear him gasp. His eyes then open, "Eight! I'm sorry, please! Believe me! The mogs they -" I start but he interrupted "Shhhh! I know, I'll hold them off," Eight then teleports somewhere. I then looked at One's body. It's half-decayed but still good. At least, bones don't decay. I put my hand on her chest and the green glow starts. No perverted thougts, Five. Just don't think. She opens her eyes, notices my hand and punches me on my eye-patch. "Ouch! I've already lost that eye!" I say, "Well, you deserved it anyways! You traiterous bastard! At least you've changed sides!" One screams, I roll my eyes... eye. I resurrect Two next then Three. And then, right before my eyes - eye - fourteen year old one ages seven years instantly. Same thing with Two and Three.
Eight Teleports back to us wounded. I reach for him and activate my Legacy. It works! Just like Marina's. "Thanks!" Eight starts, "But we need to get outta here" He finishes. "Just a second" I take off my eyepatch and cover my eye with my hand, activate it and my eye grows back. "You! Teleport us outta here, just to the entrance!" One says, "I'm afraid my teleportation can't reach that far," Eight replies. "How 'bout everyone hug me and I'll fly us outta here," I say. Two and Three reached for me, Eight hesitates but teleports behind me and hugs me from behind. One rolls her eyes and hugs behind Three. I turn my feet into metal, the floor is metal, and I lift myself up. It took me a couple seconds to adjust to the extra weight but then I speed up. We reach the exit a minute after. I dropped One, she requested earlier, she stomps her foot and destroys the base.
