"I don't understand why you won't indulge me this once."
"Once?"
Jack shrugged. "Dunno."
Gwen threw up her hands in disgust. "Fine. Once."
He unbuttoned his shirt, pulled out the shirttails, dropped it on the desk.
She took the kit from the bottom drawer. "Why can't you do this yourself?"
He put his arms around her, pulling her close. "It's nicer when you do it."
"You really ought to be able to sew on your own buttons, Jack!"
