"Maybe you'll find that date in MIT." Tom smiled, trying to laugh off the pain.

Benny faked a smile, knowing that wouldn't happen "Maybe." He stopped for a moment looking Tom in the eyes, it felt so much more magical and intimate than any other looks, "I'm sorry." He said his voice cracking as he spoke.

Tom pulled him in for a hug, one that was so much more special than the other 'bro hugs' they had shared, this was more special, it contained so much more feeling. Benny squeezed his eyes shut tight, hugging Tom and not wanting to let go. Tears leaked from his eyes as his breaths became un-even.

"I-I love you Tom." He choked out, a huge weight lifting off of his shoulder.

Tom's heart skipped a beat as Benny spoke those words, and that confused him, but he knew, just knew, he felt the same, "I love you too Benny."

Both boys held on to each other knowing, this would be the last time in a while, a long, long while, before Benny forced himself away. He forced a smile at Tom, before turning and walking away.

He refused to look back as he walked, Tom watching with a feeling in his stomach which he began to identify as he watched Benny walk away. Tears left his eyes as he stared. Thoughts were racing through his brain as Benny was slowly disappearing. All his thoughts revolving around about Benny. All the memories all the eyes catches, all the jokes and silly little arguments. The pairing of science and magic, always unstoppable. Forever and always, science and magic; Benjamin and Thomas. But forever wasn't long enough.

As Benny disappeared suddenly it all made sense. And as tears rolled down his cheeks, and his father came to his side, he knew. As his dad's hand rested on his shoulder, he knew, he was, and always will be, in love with Benjamin Sherwood.

He turned to his father and cried gently into his shoulder, "I-I loved him dad." He sniffed.

Science and magic, forever and always.
