Chapter 1
One night Chandler gets home late from work around 9 and sees Lorelai standing in the kitchen with the freezer and fridge open and goes over to her.
''hey.'' he says
''Hi.'' she kisses him back ''how was your day?'' she asks him
''good.'' he says and kisses her back
''that's good.'' she says
''so how are ya feeling?'' he asks her
''fine.'' she says
''Hi little one it's daddy how are ya?'' he asks and gently touches her stomach and kisses it
''we're good!'' she tells him and smiles
''good.'' he says
''How was the kid's day?'' he asks her
''oh good.'' she tells him
''where are they?'' he asks her
''um well Matthew is already asleep and Kaleigh is her room on the phone with that new guy that likes her.'' she tells him
''oh figure's.'' he says
''hey um Kaleigh got the lead part in the school play.'' she tells him
''oh cool High School Musical right?'' he asks her
''yeah.'' she says
''that's Sharpay isn't it?'' he asks her
''yeah.'' she says
''good I'm really proud of her.'' he says
''yea I know I am too she's worked really hard for it.'' she tells him
''okay well I'm gonna go change then say good-night to her.'' he tells her
''okay hun.'' she says and is eating some ice cream
Chandler walks to the bedroom and closes the door so he can change out of his work clothes into his sweats.
Chandler goes to Kaleigh's door and knocks.
''hang on a second.'' she tells her new boyfriend ''yea?'' she says
''it's dad.'' he tells her
''it's open.'' she tells him
Chandler opens her door.
Kaleigh gets back on the phone ''hey I gotta go.'' she tells the boy on the phone
''okay I will.'' she giggles
''I'll see you tomorrow g-night.'' she says and hangs up
''Hi daddy!'' she says
