The Question:What was going through Ron's mind while almost being killed by Nagini? Also what else happened after Neville killed the snake?
Fear. That's what I felt. I feared a lot of things in that moment. I feared that Death Eaters would kill off my family.
I feared that we would lose this battle and that Voldemort would take over.
I feared that I was going to get killed by the damn snake.
Mostly, I feared I was not going to be able to spend the rest of my life with the girl I love.
It was only minutes ago when we discovered we loved eachother. Only minutes ago when we had our bloody first kiss! But now that just might have been our last.
We ran down the castle stairs. Hermione held tightly onto my arm. I pulled out my wand and muttered the killing curse. The snake eaisly doged it.
We both fell onto a pile of bricks. This was it. We were going to die. I wraped my arms around her. I closed my eyes and tighened my grip on her, causing my wand to slip out of my hand.
"I love you." I whispered to her. I don't know if she heard me, but I really did mean it.
The snake opened it's mouth and lunged at us. But it never came. I opened my eyes and saw Neville holding the Gryffindor sword. I looked down and saw Nagini's head and body seperate.
I helped Hermione up out of the pile. "Thank you mate." I said to Neville. He gave me a sheepish smile and ran off. I grabbed Hermione's hand and started running.
"Wait Ron!" I stopped pulling her and stopped in my tracks"What?" I asked. She gave me a soft smile. "I love you too." I smiled and hugged her close.
I took her hand again and started running. I had her. We were going to be ok now. We were safe.
