Patricia's POV

Today is the best day of the year, my birthday.
I used to hate my birthday but ever since I got to Anubis I loved it..
Amber always gets me something expensive.
Alfie and Jerome get me some black clothes.
Joy always gets me a new film.
Mara and Fabian get me books.
I have no idea what Eddie and KT will get me though.
As soon as I woke up I ran down the stairs.
"Hey Trixie, your up early!" someone said.
I turned to see Jerome and Alfie smirking at me.
I stared at them, waiting for a present.
"What do you want?" Jerome asked.
They are obviously throwing a surprise party.
"Nevermind!" I smiled.
Everyone else was sitting at the breakfast table.
"Hi, so where should I go while you set up?" I asked.
"What are you talking about?" Joy asked, confused.
"You guys are really trying to keep it a secret, aren't you?" I laughed.
I walked out the door and went to school.

Jerome's POV
.
"Patricia's in a strange mood, isn't she?" KT asked.
"Yeah," Joy agreed.
Wait!
It is 4th June, PATRICIA'S BIRTHDAY!
"Guys its her birthday!" I shouted.
"How could I forget, I am such a rubbish friend!" Joy moaned.
"What will we do?" Alfie asked.
"We need to tell her we forgot!" Fabian ordered.
"She will hate us!" Alfie exclaimed.
"But we need to tell her!" I argued.
Everyone nodded.
We arrived at school.
Patricia was talking to Ben Reed about something, holding a small, elegantly wrapped present.
"Hi Trixie, can we talk to you?" Joy asked.
"Sure," she smiled.
"We forgot your birthday!" Joy blurted.
"Very funny you guys," she laughed.
Suddenly she stopped laughing.
"You really forgot?" she asked.
We all nodded.
"Nevermind, I don't mind, it's no big deal!" Patricia smiled.
We all breathed a sigh of relief.

How could they forget?
I bet none of Piper's friends forgot!
I walked away.
At least I have Ben's present.
I opened it and a small, black bracelet fell out.
There was a note that said "Happy birthday, the bracelet is made of black jades and diamonds,"
Ben is so sweet, I put the bracelet on.
I walked outside towards the woods.
I have no idea where I am going, all I know is I am wandering around.
I sat down and got out my phone.
I had 3 missed calls from Eddie, 2 from Joy and 1 from Jerome.
I also had 5 texts.
I called Eddie back first.
"Where are you? Are you okay?" he asked.
"Yeah, I am fine," I replied.
"Where are you?" he repeated.
"In the woods," I replied.
"Are you stupid Frobisher is still out there!" Eddie shouted.
I am stupid and self obsessed.
I was too busy feeling sorry for myself to remember Frobisher is out here.
"I am coming back!" I replied, trying to sound calm.
I ran all the way back to school.
There was nobody in the common room.
"SURPRISE!" Everyone shouted.
Getting up from behind the sofa.
Maybe this birthday won't be so bad!
