anyone who thinks that a nineteen year old cop is a wimp needs to think
again.
They had called the girl Kitten. People on the outside thought that it was because she was small and cute and harmless.
It was Shanks' fault. He'd thought he could pull a prank on their new little girl cop. He and his partner in crime had agreed to break the girl in with a bit of hazing. Nothing extreme. Shanks and Wilson were just going to lock her in a locker in the women's dressing rooms.
The two men had come up behind her intending to have one grab her upper body, and the other her legs. The kitten had shown her claws.
Wilson was lucky that her first kick knocked him down and cracked his head against a locker. He stayed down.
Shanks might have gotten away with just the deep bite on his hand and the clawmarks and bruises to his face, but he had to turn it into a real fight. She'd dislocated his shoulder after he punched her.
The men who came at the sound of the shouts drank free for months afterward on the entertainment value of the descriptions of their new little Hellcat standing over the bodies of her victims.
