"Doug and I are on again." She watches for Amy's reaction.
"Okay." She feels betrayed, her disappointment conveyed by her tone, "Good luck with that."
Liz sees Amy's hurt, "He is my husband."
"I don't know why you didn't divorce him years ago."
Liz rubs Amy's wrist, "I never will. I made a vow. You knew that, going into this."
Amy looks away from her, "Yeah."
She squeezes Amy's wrist, "Nothing has changed between you and I."
"We're just friends... That's what we are around him. He'll leave again and then I'll get a phone call."
"Would you come?"
Amy nods, "Don't ever say I never warned you."
"You do, you warn me every time." Liz nods, "And you're always right."
"I know." Amy is worried about Liz, she doesn't want to say anything. "Why do
you do this to yourself Elizabeth?"
Liz leans towards Amy, "Because I have you."
