A touch, a look, that was all that was needed and it was as if the last few months had never happened. They could see clearly for the first time. No distractions, no lies, everything was plain to see on the others face, the love, the trust, the yearning but also the hurt, betrayal and uncertainty. Syed knew he was to blame but hoped he could make it right, restore what they had had before Amira's return. He had his family back now, a daughter and now Christian was willing to take a chance on him again, his last chance.
