Robin's motorcycle came to a stop as the two teens approached the drop off that lead to the Bat-Cave.

"Star, you need to know a few things about my, uh, father before you go in." Robin said nervously as he turned his head in an attempt face his alien princess girlfriend.

Her green eyes glistened innocently, filled with confidence as she spoke.
"I am not afraid of the man who raised you, Robin."

"I know you're not, but there's just so much that–"

Starfire cut him off with a tight hug from behind.
"There is much that I do not know, yes. But I feel the eagerness to learn."

She gave him a quick peck on the cheek, causing him to blush. Robin revved his engine and made the jump through the waterfall, landing safely in the Bat-Cave. Alfred was there, a small smile on his face, welcoming him home.

"Master Richard, I'm happy to see you both made it through Gotham safely." Alfred motioned toward Starfire, indicating that a proper introduction needed to be made.

Before Robin could speak, a cloud of bats flew from the ceiling, causing a commotion in the dim light. And suddenly, he was there. It shouldn't have been much of a surprise to Robin, but he was worried about what Starfire would do. Out of reflex, Starfire's eyes and hands glowed green with powerful energy.

"Ah, a Tamaranian in the flesh." A deep voice called out from the dark.

Starfire calmed herself, quickly dwindling her energy down. She stood straight, a smile on her face as she spoke with illuminating confidence. "Hello, man of bats! I am delighted to meet the flesh of you as well!"

Robin smacked himself in the face. He hoped Batman realized that she was still working on her English.

A deep chuckle echoed throughout the cave.
"Well, Dick? Are you going to tell her my name or should I?"

Robin let out a nervous sigh, turning toward Alfred first.
"Starfire, this is Alfred, he's always watched out for us." Robin bit his lip as Starfire gave Alfred a warm hug, worried about how she'd greet his father. "And this is my mentor, my father. Ba-"

"Bruce. Call me Bruce."

Starfire carefully extended her hand to properly shake his hand, knowing it was how Robin would have wanted her to approach his always-serious father. Bruce gripped her hand rather tightly, before pulling her into a hug of his own. Robin's jaw hit the floor.

"It's nice to finally meet you, Starfire. If you don't mind, I'd like to know more about you and your home planet."

Starfire smiled, returning Bruce's hug.
"Only if you tell me more about yours."

Another chuckle escaped from Bruce, leaving Robin absolutely speechless.
