Keeper of My Heart
Disclaimer: I do not own any of the canon characters; they belong to Marvel and Stan Lee, may he rest in peace. Based on the drabble prompt: "You own my heart."

"When will you be back?" Jane inquires as she helps Thor buckle his chest armor.
"I am unsure, Jane. Such a quest may take many moons, or I may return within half a cycle," Thor admits, his flowing golden hair blowing slightly.
"You'll be safe, right?" the female scientist demands, placing her hands on her hips.
"I swear upon my life, my love," the God of Thunder promises, kneeling in front of his wife like one would expect of a knight. "I will be safe, and I will return home to you. As sure as the sun shines in the day and as sure as the moon brightens the night."
"How can you be sure?" Jane inquires, a sense of dread settling in her stomach.
"You own my heart, Jane," Thor states without hesitation. "All your heart must do is call out to me, and I will return home," the heir to the Asgardian throne explains. "Besides, if you ever are concerned, simply inquire my whereabouts from Heimdall."
"Wow. I've always wanted someone to respond with Westley's answer from The Princess Bride, but that is a much better response," Jane laughs, pressing a kiss to Thor's lips. "Make sure you come back. I have something to tell you," she whispers in his ear.
"Why not tell me now, then?"
"It gives you a reason to come back to me alive."
Author's Note: And there it is! My second Thor story and my final piece for the 31 Day March Drabble Challenge! I can't believe I actually succeeded in writing 31 different drabbles and posted all of them on time with the exception of one! I also only repeated fandoms twice, and that was due to the fact that Iron Man is not a separate fandom from Avengers and Skyrim inspired me much more than I thought it would and I wrote two drabbles for it. Overall, I would say that this exercise was a great success for me! I got to join many fandoms I've been putting off joining, and I got to give myself a challenge in being very concise for once in my writing! I hope you all enjoyed this double drabble! Unless there is another challenge like this, all my one-shots will go back to being normal length. Reviews are always appreciated. Until next time, dear readers! I hope you have an amazing day, afternoon, or night!
