Always the coward... on the inside
Cloud strife was afraid on the inside.
He was afraid he would be unable to protect his friend or his family but that was on the inside.
Cloud was afraid that something he couldn't change would happen, something he couldn't fix would happen, yes he felt it on the inside.
He was afraid he would lose what peace he had earned in life to the sins of the past. He was afraid he could never be forgiven for his sins, but that was information he kept on the inside.
Cloud was afraid he couldn't beat his demons the ones inside him or outside, but that was inside info. That was in his mind, locked away from others.
Cloud strife was terrified on the inside, but only on the inside, never on the outside.
