This is just an OC story. Letter Bee and some characters don't belong to me. Enjoy.
She shivered when she felt the cold air brush against her skin. It was a few days before the Holy Night and as much as she didn't want to wear the strange clothing that is assigned to them she would still go just so she could laugh at Zazie's outfit. She smiled when she thought about him. Zazie Winters, her best frenemy, was jealous due to her position in the Hive, a gaichuu hunter. At a young age she was abducted by the government and she was tested on. Much like the ones unable to become spirit she despised them and tried to run away. Her heart grew stronger and she learned new abilities. Just like how a human can only use a certain percent of the brain the heart of a person wasn't being used to its full potential but before the scientists knew that the experiments were a success, she ran away and disappeared into the never ending night in the Yuusari and Yodaka regions. With her abilities she was able to convince the director to create a position in the Hive known as Gaichuu Hunter whose sole purpose is to kill the creatures that plague the Letter Bees. A couple years after she became a successful hunter, she met Zazie. Mean, cat – loving, Jiggy fan that got angry when a gaichuu hunting position was given to a girl but she knew that she would enjoy his company no matter how irritable he sometimes is.
Zazie sat by the fire he built. His mind focused on one thing, person actually, Nathalia Verdencia. She always knew how to push his buttons and sometimes it drove him into insanity yet he knows without her his life would be dull. She was a gaichuu hunter, a job he would gladly give his life for but deep in his heart he knew he wouldn't be able to compete with her. In fact he thinks that she deserves that job knowing well that before she was taken by the government, her entire family was killed by those monsters and after escaping the capital she was attacked by numerous gaichuus due to her heart. Apparently those incidents caused something to break in her and she vowed to kill every single gaichuu.
She would always hang out with them and tell her stories about places, people and things she saw, due to those he felt that she was starting to grow on him. He remembered the first time they met, he just heard the announcement and he stormed into the Director's Office just to confront her he forgot some of the events but it ended with a shoot out on the roof. He smiled. It has been a long time since that day and they have worked on many missions already.
"Maybe… he is the person I would miss the most if I left."
"Maybe… she is the person I would miss the most if I left."
I would never admit that I love being with him.
I would never admit that I love being with her.
Apparently both of them didn't know what each other truly feels about them.
