Unsung Heroes
There are heroes whose deeds go unsaid.
There is only one person alive who know how wonderful Seto is. Mokuba is the only one who knows how much he's sacrificed, how much he hates the responsibility, and Mokuba is the only one who knows how beautiful Seto's smile really is.
There are heroes who go unnoticed.
No one ever notices what Anzu does. When everyone else's courage fails and they want to stray from their mission, she reminds them with cheerful words. She's just another cheerleader, though, so they don't see that glint in her eye and they don't know if she had the means to fight, then she would.
There are heroes who are too kind to admit they are heroes.
Every group needs a person to silently back them up. Words aren't everything, and even if no one ever says 'thank you' to your face, you can still always be there for them. Honda is good at standing in the background, but he doesn't leave.
There are heroes who think they aren't.
Ryou has offered to end his life more than once if it will help, and he has given it away before and only by luck gotten it back. They tend to forget, though, to call him, and he can't save himself from his own loneliness.
There are heroes who do all they can.
Joey tries and does his best, but he will always be one step behind. He's only an ordinary boy, and he isn't anybody's reincarnation, and he doesn't have any magical powers. No one can tell how much he's grown up, because he's only Jou and will always be that immature boy who likes to speak too much.
There are always heroes, and there are always heroes who fall in the shadows of others. It never hurts, though, for there to be more than one, because no one can do it alone.
In my mind, this has been renamed 'Vaguely Inspirational Fluff.' I hope you liked? If you did, review! If you didn't, review! Please and thank you! ...Yugi and YnY get way too much credit for saving the world. They all deserve credit!
And, I was gonna put this in, but I decided it didn't fit. So, Yami no Bakura fans, here ya go, an extra!
There are heroes who look like villains.
The only one alive who believes this is Ryou, and he's not a hero either and he only believes this half of the time. Bakura is only a hero for people who have been dead for far too long, and there is nothing to bring back to them.
