The paladin started to climb the hill and watch as his breath appeared in a cloud in front of his face. He held tightly to his shield and kept a tight grip on his mace as he heard the sounds of the battle coming from the other side of the hill. He said a silent prayer to The Light that may keep him safe so he can see his family and friends once again and that it would lend him strength in the coming battle. He drew his mace from his belt and rushed forward into the melee. He charged at a hideous creature which he soon realized was one of the mindless Scourge, servants of the Lich King, Arthas. He swiftly brought his mace down onto the skull of the undead in front of him and quickly swung again striking down a second undead monster. He called on the power of The Light and cast the spell Judgment upon a third Scourge that was attacking a Tauren warrior. He quickly healed the Tauren's wounds and it looked up at him. The Tauren looked up at the human paladin that had just saved his life and spoke in broken Common "Thank you paladin, those blasted Scourge came out of nowhere and attacked me." The paladin replied "it is no trouble my friend, I am always willing to help someone in need especially from the damned Scourge." Suddenly, the ground began to shake and the paladin looked up to see a floating city coming towards them and the next thing he saw was blackness. He heard a voice calling him from the dark and it was saying " Come my child, welcome to the Scourge warrior. I have raised you as one of my Death Knights and you shall serve me, Arthas, The Lich King!" The new Death Knight awoke on a balcony and saw The Lich King standing before him, he quickly kneeled to his master not remembering any of his former life and all he knew was he was the servant of The Lich King. Arthas commanded the Death Knight to rise and go and see the trainer who will explain everything the Knight need to know. The Knight walked towards the trainer who told to go over to the sword by the oddly looking forge and place it inside and turn the ordinary blade into a Death Knight's Rune Blade. The Knight did so and he named his blade Deathbringer, for which was the original name of his mace in his former life. He then returned to the Lich King, who ordered him to look down upon the city of Havenshire, the last stronghold of the Scarlet Crusade
