Darkness
No light
Silence
Nothing
A shell
Surrounding me
Protecting me
From the real world
Nothing to do
But wait
For the change
To come
Suddenly
Light shines through
Hope shines through
The shell is cracking
The chrysalis is opening
The whole world
In all its glory
Right before me
Nothing I can't achieve
Nothing I can't reach
Anything
Is
Possible
I spread
My new-formed wings
And fly away
Into the crystal clear dawn-
Butterfly.
