"Hey."

"Hey." Zach smiled a little smile and Shaun smiled back.

"Morning." Shaun moved his head to Zach's cheek, stroking it gently, as he spoke.

Zach's smile grew and he closed his eyes while leaning into Shaun's touch. He looked so innocent and child-like in that moment that Shaun couldn't help himself as he leaned over to peck him lovingly on the lips. Zach returned the kiss, pressing his lips softly against Shaun's.

Zach let out a soft moan, protesting when Shaun pulled his lips away.

Shaun chuckled.

Pressing his forehead to Zach's, he watched his eyes, waiting for them to open again. When Zach finally opened them, the two men simply gazed at each other, their eyes saying everything.

Zach's hands found their way into Shaun's hair and his fingers wrapped around to the back of his head, holding him in place.

"I love you." He almost whispered.

"And I love you." Shaun leaned back a bit, just enough to nuzzle his nose against Zach's, before coming back to their previous position.

"Happy anniversary." Zach smiled, with both his lips and his eyes.

"God, has it really been two years already?" Shaun sighed contently and kissed Zach again.

"Mhmm." Zach mumbled as he rolled over so Shaun was on top of him and proceded to deepen the kiss.

They lay like that for a while, holding each other, lips locked.

"Dad! Dad! Dad!" They looked up just in time to watch as Cody jumped into them.

"Yeah, little dude?" Zach asked as he ran his fingers through Cody's hair and glanced at Shaun, who had rolled off to the side and lay on his side with his head in his hand supported by his elbow.

"Dad said we could go surfing today!" Cody excitedly told Zach.

"Oh, did he?" Zach smiled at Shaun before turning back to Cody.

"He did! He did! Can we daddy? Please?!"

"Well..." Zach trailed off, rolling his gaze from one side of the room to the other, as if it was a difficult request to grant. "I guess we could..."

"Yay!" Cody jumped up and ran from the room, oblivious to his parent's sharing a kiss before they too got up to get ready.

A.N.

Yes, its short. But I'm just trying to get more Shelter fanfiction on here so its kind of like an advertisement. I will make Shelter the best known movie EVER if its the last thing I do. I'm serious!

;)

And the title is lame...and not original AT ALL. Duh. Um...any suggestions? I pride myself on having at least halfway decent titles but I couldn't think of anything for this.

I like reviews...hint hint.
