This is my very first Ron and Hermione fanfic and I'm ready for the reviews ! I wrote this story for an assignment in my English class , so I hope you like it !

Ron was pacing around in the Gryffindor common room , one Sunday . Today was going to be the day

that he would ask Hermione Granger out on a date to Hogsmeade . He had been in love with her since

their fourth year at Hogwarts , and now in their seventh year he was finally going to tell Hermione

he felt about her . He had waited so long due to all the pressure and harassment mostly caused by his

two older twin brothers , Fred and George Weasley .

Suddenly , Ron heard footsteps . He thought it was Hermione , so he got up , dusted himself off and

waited to see who was coming down from the girl's dormitory . It was only Lavender Brown , and

was basically looking at Ron like he was insane .

" What are you looking at !? " Ron said sharply .

Lavender scoffed dramatically and walked through the portrait hole , and Ron just sighed. It had been

a year since they broke up , and it was all because of Hermione ( And the nickname

Won-Won . ) . ' She'll get over it . ' Ron thought . ' And besides , she was already getting on my

nerves with that bloody - '

" Ron ? " Somebody asked .

Ron quickly turned around and froze up. Hermione Granger came down from stairs from her

dormitory .

" Oi , Ronald ! I thought I heard you down here . I was just going to the library to return some books , maybe you would like to co- uh Ron are you alright ? "

Ron was practically sweating , and felt that his lungs were dry , his voice came back though , but his words didn't come out like they were suppose to .

" Er – H-h-h-hermione , I-I was w-w-w-wondering I-if you w-would like to go to H-h-hogsmeade

w-with m-me ? " He stuttered .

Hermione looked completely confused .

" I'm sorry , I didn't quite catch that ? "

Ron finally found his words this time , and tried to say his sentence again .

" I-I was wondering if you would like would like to go to Hogsmeade with me ? "

Hermione looked completely shocked , until her expression changed and found her words .

" Yes Ron , I would love to go to Hogsmeade with you . How about this afternoon ? "

All could do was nod .

" Great ! Well I'll see you later then , goodbye Ronald ! "

After Hermione left through the portrait hole , Harry down stairs from the boys dormitory .

" Hey Ron , what've you been doing ? You weren't at breakfast , and I was really worried about you-"

" She said yes Harry . " Ron interrupted him .

" Who Ron ? Who said - "

But Harry never finished what he was saying , because Ron hit real hard on the floor . He fainted .

When Ron woke up a couple of minutes later , with Harry by his side , he told him the whole story

about trying to ask Hermione out on a date . After telling Harry what had happen , Ron finally

realized that today wasn't the day to ask Hermione Granger out !
